Üsküdar's ties with Azerbaijan are Strengthening
Üsküdar University strengthened its contacts in Azerbaijan, further deepening its international relations. A delegation led by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör visited Baku State University (BDU), one of Azerbaijan's oldest universities. Rector's Advisor and faculty member of the Psychology Department at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar, delivered a seminar on "Attachment Theory and Interpersonal Psychotherapy."
The visit was attended by Rector's Advisor Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar, Üsküdar University International Relations Manager Dilber Aliyeva Gögsu, and Azerbaijan Office Representative Könül Hümbetova.
During the visit, comprehensive meetings were held with the Head of the Psychology Department at BDU, deans, and the administrative board. Significant steps were taken during these meetings to strengthen inter-university collaborations and develop mutual academic projects.
Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar's seminar attracted interest.
Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar delivered a seminar on "Attachment Theory and Interpersonal Psychotherapy" to faculty members and students of the Psychology Faculty at Baku State University. Hızlısayar provided comprehensive information on the subject, enriching her presentation with examples from her own life.
In this context, the seminar was conducted interactively in a question-and-answer format and attracted great interest from the participants.
